WHAT REALLY DEFINES A PREMIUM BATTERY?

Zero cycle is defined as to how many times the battery has ever been charged before. If your battery was dead and fully charged, it counts it as one cycle. So typically if you charge your phone once a day, you would have 365 cycle in one year. These will have a much better performance on the battery and longevity. Most batteries in the market are generic and used which give you a lower performance and have had 100s of multiple cycle which tend to wear out quickly .As our gadgets and devices are used daily, batteries do tend to wear out from performance.

Capacity of 95% or higher is considered true capacity as anything less will down perform on the battery level charging and performance. This ensures that the battery can stay charged at full. Generic or used battery will have performance issues and tend to have the battery discharge too fast.

A premium battery will have the pcb board and flex as one unit. An aftermarket battery will have 2 separate units. When it is soldered on, any bad solder work will quickly short circuit the entire battery along with the motherboard upon first power cycle.

The fpc connector is the connector pin for the battery and the motherboard. The premium fpc connector ensures that the male and female ends of the battery stay intact and can transmit charge properly.

The filter on a battery ensures that the battery can properly discharge the voltage that is entered in the battery. A overlay filter on an aftermarket battery will not be able to control the voltage coming into the battery. This is very important to have when using an aftermarket charger. This will ensure if the cable or wall adapter outputs more then 1mah it can discharge the extra voltage quickly. The aftermarket batteries `will overheat the phone which can cause much serious problems.

These capacitors will ensure that the power coming out of the battery is fully regulated and ensure that it will not short circuit the phone.

To ensure that the pcb board and the ic chips don’t get damaged, a premium battery will have a plastic cap to ensure that the connection on the pcb board will stay snug and will not malfunction with outside electrical current. The aftermarket battery will have tape to cover it up.
